In 2009, Sports Express housed 11 Junior Olympic travel teams competing in the Ohio Valley Region of USA Volleyball. Their final OVR rankings for 2009 looked like this:

U13 Schuler Wehrum finished #15 out of 184 teams (3 tourney wins)
U13 Schuler finished #10 out of 23 teams
U14 Case finished #7 out of 33 teams (2 tourney wins)
U14 finished #11 out of 33 teams (1 tourney win)
U15 Hess finished #19 out 35 teams (2 tourney wins)
U15 Wygant finished #50 out of 209 teams
U15 Rodriguez finished #85 out of 209 teams (1 tourney win)
U16 Lovett finished #19 out of 33 teams (1 tourney win)
U17 Toms finished #11 out of 26 teams
Thanks to all the players for making our return to JO volleyball this year a successful one. We will win and lose as a team and move on better for it either way. Thanks to the parents for supporting our mission as a club. None of this is possible without supportive parents helping us build great teammates.

Sports Express finishes 5th at AAU Nationals in Orlando!
Sports Express gathered wins over Sports Performance 14-Elite, MAVA 14 Elite, Cape Coast 14 National, Indiana VB Academy, and Club Fusion 14 Black before losing to the eventual National Champions in the Gold bracket quarterfinals. After finishing pool play undefeated, 15-Hess suffered a 1st round Gold bracket loss for a 9th place finish out of 83 teams.

Sports Express traveled to Louisville for the KIVA Memorial Day Classic and won their 2nd tourney in a row!
15 - Hess top NKYVC-Tide, Black Swamp, and Team Z-Navy to win the Bronze!
Congratulations to the 15's on an undeafeated weekend in the Bronze division of Regionals! After many tournaments with solid pool play, way to finish this one off! Great job girls.
14 - Case finsh 5th out of 33 at OVR Regionals!
After an undefeated pool play, Sports Express lost in their quarter final match to the eventual champs
after leading 20-15 and 22-18 in each game. A dissappointing loss that would have set up an
all-Sports Express final!

The 13R team finished their season with another outstanding performance!
13N - Schuler ended their season at Regionals with a 10th place finish!

17-1 finishes 18th out of 117 teams at the Big South Qualifier
After winning both of their pools on Friday and Saturday, Team Adrenaline lost their challenge match sending them to the silver bracket on Sunday in Atlanta. Gene and Adam's team subsequently turned in a solid Sunday making it to the finals.
