Elevation will be offering 12 Junior Olympic travel teams for 2010. These teams will be selected through tryouts or by personal invitation depending on the age group and the coaches choice. Tryouts will take place between November 3rd and November 17th. We always do our best to set our tryouts opposite the other clubs so you can attend both. We have a great group of coaches in place this year. Each brings a great coaching resume and can help your daughter succeed on the court. Coaches Elevation VBC will never offer a tryout for any team that does not have a coach in place and practice time set aside for that team beforehand. Below is our list of coaches for 2010. This staff is more experienced than any staff in the city. 7 of our 13 teams will have current or past varsity head coaches instructing them. Every coach in our program played college volleyball at some level and many continue to play USAV Volleyball to this day. Check out our Training Teams! For those players and parents looking for an alternative to JO's at the U10-U14 ages, please look into our Training Teams. Elevation VBC will be offering 10 Training Teams for a session running September 8th - Ocrober 30th. The cost of a Training Team is substancially less than that of a JO travel team. All practices are held at Sports Express (4 hours per week) and our top trainers are committed to this activity. There will also be a short winter session beginning in November for the U13 and 14 age groups only. If you want to be on the court with this fall Lisa Schaad (club director), Mike Seibert (Ohio HS Coaching Hall of Fame member), Erin Iceman (HS head coach), Karen Hess (HS head coach), Marni Rhodes (HS head coach), or Amanda Schuler (HS head coach), then get registered for the fall session. They will all be there coaching teams. This is not a camp. This is team training with your own coach.
